Work motivation and negative evaluation fear are a portion of the central point influencing the workplace and work conduct of the corporates. There has been a major shift observed between offline and online working mode in the times of lockdown. The role of negative evaluation fear and motivation based on work has not been explored in-depth to concretely evidence indicating the finest intricacies of their effect and their relationship on the difference and working modes. To attempt to bridge this gap, this dissertation aimed to assess the relationship among the work motivation & negative evaluation fear and work mode (online and offline) in men and women corporate professionals. Data was collected from a sample of 112 participants (56 men, 56 women), between the ages of 25 and 45, using the Work Motivation by Agarwal, K.G. (1971) and the Brief Fear of Negative Evaluation (BFNE) by Leary (1983). Correlational design and differential design were prepared, where Pearson’s correlation and t-test was employed. The findings depicted that there is a weak significant or critical negative correlation between the negative evaluation fear and the work motivation in the offline working mode however, a significant positive correlation in the online mode of working. The differentiations saw between the degree of work-related motivation among men corporates is significant and women corporates is not significant within the offline and online working mode. In the level of negative evaluation fear, significant distinction has been observed among women and men corporates within offline and online working modes.
